This is a privately operated reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, pull or correct an official booking record, provide an agency photograph, remove an official record or photograph, or give legal advice. Contact the government office that holds the record.
Choose the Right Hernando Office
A custody question, booking-photo request, police report, and court outcome belong to different offices. Use the contact that matches the record. Call 911 for an emergency. The HCSO non-emergency number is 352-754-6830.

These routes cover the most common record needs:
- For a current or released county-jail booking, photograph, or recent arrest path, begin with the Hernando County booking and roster guide. Send a missing booking sheet, photo, or HCSO report request to the Public Records Unit.
- For current custody, release information, or the jail's VINE notification link, use the official HCSO inmate search or call the Detention Center. This site cannot verify a live status.
- For Brooksville contract-policing questions, use District 1. Brooksville has no current municipal police department; its Brooksville Busted Mugshots page explains the local record path.
- For filed charges, case events, or final disposition, use the Clerk's criminal court service. The jail's booking allegation is not the court outcome.
- For a warrant search, use Wanted Fugitives and confirm a possible match through the official source before taking action.
- For a sentenced state prisoner or supervision record, use the Florida Department of Corrections offender search. FDC records are separate from Hernando County jail bookings.
- For federal custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator. For immigration custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. Neither locator replaces the county roster.
